We were warmly greeted with homemade scones, chocolate, and a bottle of wine, instantly making us feel at home. The accommodation was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had a cozy log burner. The amenities provided were excellent, including a good oven, hob, dishwasher, and fridge-freezer. The hostess was friendly and helpful, giving us recommendations and even leaving us a thoughtful gift. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this lovely cottage.

The cottage was a little lacking in cutlery and crockery for 2 meals a day, possibly due to it being after the summer season. The washing machine was shared in a separate area instead of being in the property itself.

The location was quiet yet convenient for exploring popular attractions such as the Slea Head Drive, Lakes of Killarney, and the Ring of Kerry. It was the perfect base for my trip, and I appreciated the attention to detail with thoughtful touches like fresh flowers and a cozy fireplace.
